Waiting...waiting...waiting...

After the election, I made a pledge to give the new president 100 days in office before criticizing any of his policies.  I just can't wait any longer.  What we are witnessing is a full-fledged headlong plunge  into statism.  The creation of a new order in American political governance is before us.  When the president "fired" the CEO of General Motors two days ago, I was astonished!  But this initial astonishment paled with the realization that the event garnered so little MSM coverage as a cataclismic happening.  There is so much to talk about and so much marshalling of an effort to stop this movement to government domination of our lives, and those who love liberty and the principles upon which this great country was formed have a serious task at hand.  Moral dilemmas surround us everywhere, so where to begin.  Here is a starting point:  the president speaking at Notre Dame and receiving an honorary degree.  Check out these comments from Francis Beckwith:
